I never thought writing lines of code would one day lead me to writing stories that connect with people.
My career didn’t follow a straight line—it twisted, pivoted, and transformed in ways I could have never predicted. Today, when I look back at my overall 9 years of journey from an iOS Developer Trainee in 2016 to a Marketing Director in 2025, I see one common thread: the courage to embrace change.
The Beginning – Lines of Code
My career started in the world of development. In my last year of college and internship as a iOS Developer Trainee, I loved solving problems, building apps UI/UX, doing creative graphics, and seeing my work come to life on a screen. Technology fascinated me, and coding felt like a creative art form in its own way. But deep inside, I also had a passion for communication and storytelling—a side of me that wasn’t fully explored in my development role.
The Shift – Choosing Growth Over Comfort
At one point, I realized I was curious about how technology connects with people. Apps were amazing, but what about the stories behind them? What about the ways businesses reached people, built trust, and inspired action? That curiosity slowly pulled me toward the world of marketing.
Shifting from tech to marketing wasn’t easy. I faced doubts: “Will I fit in? Can I really do this? Am I leaving behind everything I worked for?” But sometimes, the only way to grow is to step into the unknown.
Finding My Space – Marketing + Technology
What I discovered was a perfect blend of both worlds. With Marketing Automation, Salesforce, and Digital Strategy, I could still work with technology while also exploring creativity and communication. I started small, learning, experimenting, and sometimes failing. But with every step, I got closer to finding my true calling.
I realized marketing isn’t just about selling. It’s about building relationships, experiences, and trust. It’s about telling stories that people can feel. That’s when I knew—I was in the right place.
The Growth – Leading with Purpose
Years later, I now stand at a positions where I work on, leading strategies, building communities, and empowering teams. I’ve worked with global businesses, created impactful campaigns, and helped brands find their voice.
But beyond titles and roles, what I’m most proud of is the growth mindset I nurtured—the ability to reinvent myself, to merge technology with creativity, and to inspire others to believe that change is not a setback, but a step forward.
